Pray For Us
Below is the prayer list that was compiled for Texas Sports Reach. Please keep a copy of this prayer list and give a copy to anyone else that is willing to pray for us. We believe there is power in prayer and that our prayers should be specific. We have seen God do amazing things as answers to our prayers. Thank you for praying for the following:
That doors will be opened and obstacles removed in places God wants to send us
That there will be no complications with the details and arrangements of our trip
That we will find favor with the prison staff and all of our men will allowed to enter into the prison
That the prisons that we visit will be anointed by the Holy Spirit before we arrive
That God protects and works through the Christians in the prison
That hearts will be opened and a harvest will be prepared
That our men will be anointed by the Holy Spirit to speak the Gospel clearly with boldness and with love & grace
That we will share Jesus without fear, both in the prison and in our daily life
That there will be peace in the prisons during the weeks before our visit
That there will be peace after our visit and that the message of Christ will spread rapidly throughout the prison and men will be discipled into mature Christians
That we will have safety in our travels
That there is good health and no injuries on our team or the inmate teams
That we will have good weather for our trips
That God will supply the material resources through generous givers needed to operate the ministry and accomplish His purposes
That our families be blessed for our obedience to Christ and that they will be safe and healthy while we are gone
That we will have continued unity and strong fellowship in our organization
That God teaches us how to pray earnestly
That God will give us servant’s hearts to put others first
That our members will be accountable with each other
That the board of directors and those leading Texas Sports Reach gain wisdom and make decisions at the proper time
That our board will have wisdom in developing and managing our budget
That we will have discernment and wisdom to make right choices and decisions in all situations
That the future of Texas Sports Reach is secure and that God will prepare us for whatever He wants to accomplish
